Ribbon Cutting - Boys & Girls Club of Portage

We are celebrating with the Portage Boys & Girls Club as they prepare to open the new Club here in Portage at the former Rusch Elementary School. Join us at 4:30pm for the official ribbon cutting and an Open House to follow.


 
 
Boys & Girls Clubs empower youth to become tomorrow's leaders through everyday moments.
Everyday moments in a safe space that propels youth to unlock their potential, with caring staff to support their goals and amplify their voices. ​Each day at the Club, young people are learning and growing, building their confidence, gaining valuable life and career skills, and developing healthy relationships with their peers and mentors.

When our community empowers youth, we are building our future workforce, mentoring tomorrow’s leaders, and creating a brighter future – together.  It is for that reason that several dedicated Portage community members came together to determine what it would take to bring a Boys & Girls Club to the community of Portage!
