DESCRIPTION:"Paddle Through Time" Voyageur Canoe Experience (in conjunction with Enduring Skills Weekend)\n\nSaturday (July 30) only: 11am / 1pm / 3pm (Rain date: Sunday)\n\n\n\n\n"Paddle Through Time" on the Fox River (which adjoins our land) with costumed reenactors in a Voyageur canoe! Learn hands-on what it was like to be a French Voyageur during the fur trade era. First come - first served. Preregistration is recommended as there are limited seats available on each of the 3 river trips. Meet 15 minutes ahead of time just outside the visitor center to receive equipment and instructions. If you are late\, others will be offered your place\, so please be on time. The duration of the canoe trip is roughly 20-30 minutes.\n\n\n\nAges 5 through adult may participate. *Note: Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Adults are responsible for the safety and obedience of the children under their charge. Full compliance with all directions is necessary for the safety of all on board. Life vests will be supplied for adults and children by Fox of the River Voyageur Canoe\, LLC.\n\n\n\nFREE: Your ticket has been generously paid for by Sally and Michael Connelly (a $20/person value!)\, but please consider giving a freewill donation the amount is up to you to help us raise funds toward the continued preservation and operation of the Historic Indian Agency House. As a 501c3 nonprofit museum\, we rely heavily on supporters like you to do what we do.
