SUMMARY:Portage Area Community Theater Annual Meeting
DESCRIPTION:PACT announces cast of "Little Shop of Horrors"\n\n \n\nPortage Area Community Theatre has selected the cast for "Little Shop of Horrors"\, a musical that will be presented in November at the Portage Center for the Arts.  Directors will be Dr. Tom McEvilly of Poynette\, Marion Hendrickson of Arlington and Michelle Pare of Lodi.  \n\n \n\n"Little Shop of Horrors" is a spoof of science fiction\, 'B" movies\, and musical comedies.  The music was written by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken of "Lion King" and "Little Mermaid" fame.  The cast consists of: Mark Lefeber as Seymour\, and Doreen Viking as Audrey.  Orin is played by Greg Frank with the voice of the plant performed by Britton Rea. Additional performers are: Amber Frieden and Laker Thrasher.\n\n\n\nThe public and PACT members are invited to see a sneak preview on Thursday\, September 24 at the Portage Public Library.  At that time\, PACT will be hosting its annual meeting at 6:30 with updates on the previous year as well as the search for a building.  A dessert buffet will be served and everyone is welcome. \n\n\n\nFor more information or to volunteer to help with the fall production\, call president\, Sheril Lannoye\, at 742-5762. Individuals who would like to serve on the PACT Board can also call that number and must be present at the meeting.
