DESCRIPTION:Portage Area Community Theatre presents 'Rocky Horror Show' \n\n\n\nShows are as follows:\n\nPerformances are November 14 at 7pm for $15.\n\nNovember 15\, 16\, 22\, 23 at 7pm for $18.\n\nNovember 17 & 24 at 2pm for $15 \n\nSpecial late night showings on both Fridays\, November 15 & 22 at 11pm for $18.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPortage Area Community Threatre proudly presents Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show at the Portage Center for the Arts\, 301 E. Cook St\, Portage\, WI 53901 If you are a fan of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" you need no explanation. If you have never seen the show\, or the movie\, no explanation can do it justice. There is only one way to appreciate this amazing story and that is to come and see the show. Rocky Horror is a story of creation\, love\, hate\, adventure\, and\, most of all\, sex. A humorous tribute to the science fiction and horror B movies of the late 1940s through early 1970s\, the musical tells the story of a newly engaged couple getting caught in a storm and coming to the home of a mad transvestite scientist unveiling his new creation\, a muscle man named Rocky Horror.\n\nThe stage musical has since developed a cult following and was also adapted into the 1975 film \,The Rocky Horror Picture Show\, which today has a worldwide cult following and has the longest-running release in film history. WARNING: This is an outrageous show with audience participation and extremely suggestive adult content not for the faint of heart. Parental Guidance is HIGHLY recommended. Wearing costumes is totally acceptable and encouraged! We will have audience participation bags available for sale\, as no outside "items" will be allowed in the theatre.\n\nTickets are available on-line at www.pactwi.org or at Portage Center for the Arts 608-742-5655 After the performance on Saturday\, November 16th\, 205 Vino in Portage will be hosting the cast for a special "after the show" experience\, everyone is welcome. 205 Vino is a Wine\, Craft Beer and Tapas Bar and is located at 205 DeWitt St in Portage\, WI 53901
