Candidates Rick Dodd and Mitch Craig will be participating in this Mayoral Forum.  Candidate Kyle Little is unable to attend live but will be provided the questions and has been given the opportunity to have a 'stand-in' to read his written responses.  \n\n\n\nOverview:\n\nThis is a Mayoral Forum and not a Mayoral Debate.  Each candidate will be given an opportunity to share their opinions and ideas on specific questions that have been submitted to the Portage Area Chamber of Commerce.    \n\n\n\nTo begin the Mayoral Forum each candidate will be given an opportunity for an opening statement to be kept at no more than two minutes.  Questions will then be asked of each candidate during the Mayoral Forum by the moderator\, Marianne Hanson of the Portage Area Chamber of Commerce.  Each candidate will have two minutes to respond for each question.  \n\n \n\nAll questions will be approved and asked by the moderator\, no one else joining the meeting will be allowed to ask questions. The Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to ask follow-up questions during the Mayoral Forum of each candidate.\n\n\n\nClosing statements will be given by each candidate at the end and they will be kept to no more than two minutes each.\n\n \n\nHow the questions will be selected:\n\nQuestions can be submitted by email\, mail or dropped off at the Portage Area Chamber of Commerce by January 28th at 3pm. Please note\, even though a question is submitted it does not guarantee it will be asked at this Mayoral Forum.  Anyone can submit a question to the Chamber of Commerce.\n\n\n\nCandidates will receive the questions on Tuesday\, February 1st by 5pm to review and prepare. \n\n \n\nLength of Mayoral Forum:\n\nThe time will be kept to 60 minutes.
