SUMMARY:Kiwanis Bike to Read - Bike Ride Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Please join the Portage Kiwanis Club on August 11\, 2012 in their Metric Century "Ride to Read" fundraiser pedaling through scenic Amish country with 4 routes available. The proceeds of this fundraiser will be used to purchase books for KIDS.  \n\n\n	\n		Cost   Pre-Registration $20.  After Aug. 4\, 2012 and the day of the ride $25.  Includes refreshment stops in route\, detailed route map\, complimentary gift and SAG wagon if needed.  All proceeds will be used to purchase and distribute children's books.\n	\n		Course   Carefully marked and mapped routes on low traffic roads through Columbia\, Marquette and Green Lake Counties.   Four route options of 15\, 30\, 45 and 62 miles (metric century) travel through scenic and historic Amish countryside.\n	\n		Start Location    Beautiful Riverside Park   300 East Wisconsin St. Portage.   Distance from Chicago 173 mi.\, Milwaukee 96 mi.\, Janesville 71 mi.\,  La Crosse 105 mi.\, Green Bay 120 mi.\, Eau Claire 142 mi.\, Madison 35 mi.\n	\n		Registration   Packet Pick   Up/Registration at Riverside Park from 6:00 AM   10:00 AM   (6:00 AM- 8:30 AM for 62 mile riders).   Ride begins at your leisure. \n	\n		Sag Wagon   Sag Wagon provided by "Wildside" The Adventure Store of Baraboo\, WI.  Bicyclists will be transported by the sag wagon in case of an emergency\, i.e. mechanical breakdown.
