DESCRIPTION:The second Miss Heart of Wisconsin pageant and first Outstanding Teen program is being held at the High School Auditorium in Portage\, Wisconsin on February 9th at 6:00 p.m.\n\n	Miss Heart of Wisconsin is a preliminary to the Miss Wisconsin pageant in June. Young women between the ages of 17 and 24 that are residents of Wisconsin and at least a senior in high school are eligible. Contestants compete in the interview\, lifestyle and fitness\, talent\, and evening gown competitions.\n\n	New this year! Miss Heart of Wisconsin's Outstanding Teen Program is a preliminary to the Miss Wisconsin's Outstanding Teen Program in June. Teen girls between the ages of 13-17 that go to school in the Portage area are eligible. Contestants compete in the interview\, lifestyle and fitness in active wear\, talent\, and evening gown competitions.\n\n	Miss Heart of Wisconsin's Princess Program is not a competition. It is a mentorship program to spend quality time with great women role models. Young girls between the ages of 5-12 are eligible to participate. Through this program our princesses will gain confidence\, make new friends\, learn about community service\, and most important ~ HAVE FUN! Participants will be given the opportunity spend quality time with local titleholders who will help young girls gain confidence and self-esteem through our GEMS workshop. (Girls Empowered and Motivated to Shine!) \n\n	Any women interested in being a contestant should attend the informational meeting on Saturday\, December 8th at 10:00 am at the Portage High School Commons or contact Brenda Collins by phone 608-566-7021 or email ~ missheartofwi@gmail.com . All competition paperwork is due to Brenda before January 1\, 2013.\n\n	 \n\n	The Miss America Organization is the nation's largest provider of scholarship assistance for young woman. Last year\, the Miss America\, and its local and state pageants\, made over $45 million in cash and scholarship assistance available to its contestants.
