DESCRIPTION:Be part of the parade! Click here for an application. \n\n	\n\n	Parade lineup will be between 4 and 5PM in the area of Pauquette Park. \n\n	Parade Route: The parade will proceed down Conant Street turn right onto Wisconsin\, left onto Cook Street and follow to Adams Street\, where it will end.\n\n	\n\n	The Portage Holiday Parade committee is urging all parties who are interested in participating in the Happy Holidays parade this year to join the fun.  The parade is open to all\, commercial and private parties\, families\, individuals\, groups\, service clubs\, churches and fraternal organizations. Vehicular and horse drawn floats and pedestrians are all welcome.  \n\n	\n\n	There is no entry fee. The only requirements are that the entry be Holiday oriented and that the entry be lighted and please\, no Santa on floats as the "real one" is being brought to Portage by The Flower Company on their beautiful antique sleigh. \n\n	\n\n	The tree lighting of the community tree by Santa and holiday music by the Portage High School band will take place in Commerce Plaza immediately following the parade.\n\n	\n\n	Main Street Portage will be providing complimentary goodies at several sites along the parade route. Hot chocolate\, hot apple cider and super delicious cookies baked by Portage High School students will be among the offerings.\n\n	\n\n	All parade participants are invited to stop in for the After Glow sponsored by Main Street Portage and C&H Distributors at the Corner Pocket after the events.
