DESCRIPTION:Portage Theatres is planning a great Halloween themed event for kids in Portage on Saturday\, October 26! All you have to do is bring a non-perishable food item for the Food Pantry to participate. There will be a costume contest and sidewalk parade leaving from St. Mary parking lot (next to the Theatre along Conant St.). \n\n	\n\n	9:30am - 9:45am  - costume contest registration at St. Mary's Parking Lot\n\n	9:50am  - Costume judging starts with the Costume Parade to follow.\n\n	Downtown-Businesses are encouraged to be out on the sidewalk and pass out promotional items\, brochures and goodies to the kids.\n\n	\n\n	Following Parade - free movie with non-perishable food item donation.  The movie this year is Monsters University.\n\n	\n\n	Kids will receive a goodie bag at the Costume Contest to take with during the parade and prizes for the contest will be awarded after the parade at the Theatre.\n\n	\n\n	Costume Categories \n\n	1. Scariest\n\n	2. Most Creative\n\n	3. Best Boy Character\n\n	4. Best Boy Character\n\n	5. Best Witch or Wizard\n\n	6. Cutest Animal type\n\n	7. Best Fairytale or Storybook\n\n	8.
