SUMMARY:Goodwill Sale with Boston Store
DESCRIPTION:HELP LOCAL RESIDENTS WITH DISABILITIES OR OTHER CHALLENGES\n\nBY DONATING DURING BOSTON STORE'S GOODWILL SALE\n\nGoodwill and the Bon-Ton family of stores encourage residents to help area individuals with disabilities or other challenges by donating unwanted clothing\, shoes\, handbags\, blankets and comforters during the semi-annual Goodwill Sale.\n\nFor every item donated to Goodwill\, donors will receive at least one coupon good for up to 25 percent off on nearly every Boston Store purchase made between Thursday\, March 12 and Saturday\, March 28. It is a great opportunity to save on Boston Store brands and goods that rarely (if ever) go on sale and help Goodwill generate the revenue it needs to provide life-changing services for individuals with disabilities or other challenges.\n\nResidents can receive their coupons by dropping off donations at the Goodwill donation center located at 2902 American Legion Drive in Portage or any other Goodwill Industries of South Central Wisconsin donation center. Donations can also be dropped off at the East Towne or West Towne Boston Store. \n\nInformation about each store's hours of operation is available at (608) 241-2111 (East Towne) and (608) 833-9799 (West Towne). A list of Goodwill donation center locations and hours is available at www.goodwillscwi.org or by calling (608) 246-3140. \n\n \n\nGoodwill provides supportive housing\, employment services and other assistance to local residents with disabilities or other challenges. Seventy-eight percent of its revenue is generated through the sale of donated goods.\n\n\n\n"The Goodwill Sale is a wonderful opportunity for residents to help those in our community who are facing challenges\," said Maureen Roche\, Goodwill Industries of South Central Wisconsin's director of marketing and development. "The sale also makes it possible for individuals to do their part to reduce what is placed in our landfills and to give others an opportunity to buy quality items at incredibly low prices through Goodwill stores and online shopping sites."\n\nOther Wisconsin Bon-Ton stores participating in the Goodwill Sale include Elder-Beerman\, Herberger's and Yonkers.\n\n \n\nThose who shop at Boston Store or other Bon-Ton stores can visit Bon-Ton's Million Acts of Goodwill website (www.millionactsofgoodwill.com) and enter for the chance to win a $500 Bon-Ton shopping spree as well as enter a daily $25 gift card giveaway. \n\n \n\nDuring the sale\, individuals can share the positive impact of their donations and their new purchases using the hashtag #GoodwillSale. Goodwill Industries (@GoodwillIntl) and The Bon-Ton Stores (@bonton) will highlight their favorite tweets throughout the event.\n\nTo learn more about Goodwill Industries of South Central Wisconsin\, visit www.goodwillscwi.org.\n\n- end -
