DESCRIPTION:Do you want to make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities or other challenges?\n\n\n\nGoodwill of South Central Wisconsin offers a variety of positions that support its mission of strengthening our community by providing supportive housing\, employment and other assistance to local residents with disabilities or other challenges. Staff will be interviewing persons interested in a retail management and support\, mission services or administrative position with Goodwill during a special hiring fair taking place from noon to 6 p.m. on Thursday\, July 21\, at the Goodwill store located at 2501 Royal Ave.\, in Monona.   \n\n \n\nAttendance at the fair is not required in order to be considered for a position.\n\n \n\nGoodwill operates stores and donation centers in Portage\, Monona\, Madison\, Fitchburg\, Fort Atkinson\, Platteville\, Richland Center and Sun Prairie. It also operates a donation center in Middleton. Positions providing services to individuals with disabilities or other challenges are based in Madison\, along with the organization's administrative positions.\n\n \n\nFull-time employees (employees working 30 or more hours per week) are eligible for health\, dental\, life and disability insurance\, retirement plans and paid holiday\, vacation and sick time. Part-time employees working 25 to 29 hours per week are eligible for paid holiday\, vacation and sick time. All employees receive a 20 percent discount on items purchased at a Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin store.\n\n \n\nPersons interested in learning about available career opportunities can visit goodwillscwi.org or call 608-246-3140. Goodwill encourages persons to check often because its staffing needs change frequently.
