SUMMARY:Fireworks and Concert in the Park
DESCRIPTION:Join us for some great summer music at the Portage Concert in the Park Independence Celebration.  Bring your lawn chair to Pauquette Park (corner of  Hwy 33 and Pierce Street) and spend an evening listening to great music.  Enjoy a cold treat of Culver's Custard and Pepsi products during the performances. \n\n\n\nTonight's Performance\n\n5:30pm - The 132nd Army Badger Brass Ensemble performs\n\n7:30pm - The Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra performs\n\n9:00pm - Madison Malone performs\n\n9:30pm - Fireworks over the Wisconsin River\n\n\n\n132nd Badger Brass\n\nThis "all brass and no ammo" ensemble came about in 2013 with the merging of two brass quintets.  Their members range from college students to music educators\, along with a molecular biologist\, but when they get together they\n\nrepresent the State of Wisconsin and America promoting patriotism through the fine art of brass playing.  Several members play more than one instrument to include percussion.
