Divine Savior Healthcare is pleased to host our Run/Walk in support of the Portage Area Trails Heritage System (PATHS). All profits from the race will go directly to the project to create a walkable and bikeable \;community.

\n\n

The PATHS project is a proposal to link the Portage Community with a \;65 mile trail system that will allow residents and visitors to freely bike\, run or walk the community. Not only will this system link our natural and historic wonders\, but it will also increase our overall wellness\, tourism potential\, recreational opportunities and economic growth while creating an increased sense of community.

2014 Run/Walk Details:

\nDate: Saturday\, September 27th\, 2014
\n
\nTime: 9:00 a.m.
\n
\nLocation: Runners will start and stop near Tivoli (2805 Hunters Trail\, Portage) \;and follow a course that includes Hamilton Street\, East Albert Street and Agency House Road. The 10K course will take runners out along the canal to the historic Indian Agency House and back.

Those who choose the Fun Walk will enjoy an approximately one mile walk around our campus that includes fun activity stations along the way for kids and adults!

\nEvent details and schedule:

\n&bull\;Run and walk begin at 9:00 a.m.
\n&bull\;All runners will receive a timing chip which must be picked up on the morning of the race\, so please plan accordingly. Race day registration will be available from 7:00-8:30 a.m.
\n&bull\;Registration is available on-site the day of the race for an additional cost\, but t-shirts can not be guaranteed.

Registration fees are (ALL PROFITS BENEFIT THE PATHS PROJECT):

\n&bull\; $25 per runner age 13 and above ($30 on race day)
\n&bull\; $20 per runner age 12 and under ($25 on race day)
\n&bull\; $20 per walker age 13 and above ($25 on race day)
\n \;&bull\;$15 per walker age 12 and under ($20 on race day)

Registration fee includes a cotton t-shirt (upgrade to a moisture-wicking running shirt for an additional $5!) and refreshments. In addition\, runners receive electronic timing\, free post-race massages\, completion ribbons and trophies for top male and female finishers in each race.
