DESCRIPTION:This Saturday morning\, July 23rd\, from 9:30 AM until 1:00 PM\n\n\n\nDARE car wash fundraiser at Aspen Family Counseling Center at 2639 New Pinery Road (behind Jimmy John's).\n\n\n\nDARE teaches 5th graders about being valued members of the community. The students not only learn about the dangers of alcohol and tobacco but they also learn confident communication skills\, risks and consequences of their choices\, how to report bullying and much more. Plus the relationship that is built between the DARE Instructor (Officer Dennis Pomeroy) and his students is irreplaceable. We need that now more than ever in our country.\n\nChecks can be made out to City of Portage with DARE written in the memo section. Please come and join us and get your car cleaned. We will also have sandwiches\, water and pop for sale.
