SUMMARY:Curl for a Cure
DESCRIPTION:The 7th annual Portage Curling Club "Curl for a Cure" is set for Friday November 12 - Saturday November 13\, 2010.  This year the Curl for a Cure will be a full 4-event bonspiel starting on Friday evening and concluding with the event finals and banquet on Saturday evening.  Curlers and teams of all ages and abilities are welcome\, including beginners.  Games will be 4 ends each.  For those new to curling\, this is a great first bonspiel to enter.  Bonspiels are quite unique in that you will eventually end up curling teams of your same caliber\, and you can win an 'event' even if you lose some games.  \n\nThe Curl for a Cure has been growing every year\, and this year we will take up to 24 teams.   \n\nProceeds this year will be donated as follows:\n\n50% Leukemia - Donated to Portage area children under treatment for childhood leukemia\n\n25% Breast Cancer - Donated to the Columbia County Pink Ribbon Angels\n\n25% Prostate Cancer - Donated to prostate cancer research
