Miss America is brought to you by Frontier Communications\, City of Portage Tourism and the Business Improvement District. She will be part of the parade that will take place in Historic Downtown at 4pm. \n\n \n\n 1-3pm - Meet and Greet with Miss America at Pauquette Park prior to the parade at the Frontier Communications Customer Appreciation Picnic.\n\n \n\n 4pm Parade Route: Beginning at the corner of Adams and Cook Street near Market Square parking lot and traveling west on Cook Street to Wisconsin Street(Hwy16) and then turning right onto Wisconsin and then turning left onto Conant Street. The parade will continue along Conant Street past Pauquette Park and end at the corner of Conant and Sunset Street. \n\n \n\n 5/5:15pm - Members of the UW Marching Band courtesy of AMPI will perform at the park following the parade and Dr. Foskett 1943 military plane fly-over.\n\n \n\n 6:30pm - Miss America will sing our National Anthem at the start of the Concert in the Park. The Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra plays at Pauquette Park. A few songs featured during the performance will be: Festival Overture on the American National Air\, Armed Forces Salute\, 1812 Overture\, America the Beautiful\n\n \n\n 8:30pm - 115th Fighter Wing Military Flyover at Pauquette Park\n\n \n\n 8:45pm - Local musician Madison Malone performs following the Flyover in downtown at the Blarney Stone.\n\n \n\n Fireworks display has been rescheduled due to dry conditions and fire ban. Rescheduled date is Saturday\, August 25 as part of Taste of Portage.
