DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce this year's event will be held on Saturday\, April 22\, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  at the Columbia County Law Enforcement Center Parking Lot\, located at 711 East Cook Street\, Portage. \n\n \n\nPlease bring your family for a cook-out lunch\, meet our K9s\, and an opportunity to learn more about all the cool stuff we do at the Sheriff's Office.  We have many things planned to include K9 and Drone Demonstrations\, Dispatch Center Tours\, Free Kids' ID Cards\, Autism Awareness\, Impairment Goggle Demonstrations\, and new this year\, a Drug Take Back disposal. Also\, due to popular demand\, we also brought back the sales of our K9 Plush Dogs\, Challenge Coins\, and Customizable Mugs. \n\n \n\nThe Columbia County Sheriff's Office K9 Program is solely funded by donations received from the community. These generous funds are used to pay for the dogs  themselves\, training\, equipment\, emergency veterinary services\, food\, and supplies.  \n\n \n\nThank you for your continued support of this wonderful and effective program serving you and Columbia County!\n\n \n\nWe hope to see you on Saturday\, April 22\, 2023!
