DESCRIPTION:Topic and Guest Speaker: "Supervisory Do's and Don'ts" by the COO of QTI HR\, Jane Clark\n\n			This presentation will address aspects of discrimination\, harassment\, diversity sensitivity\, interviewing\, employee discipline\, and management in the age of social media.  This will include a primer on effective and regulatory compliant  supervisory behaviors and practices.  At the same time\, the presentation will make the audience aware of supervisory behaviors and practices that could land them in trouble.   \n			\n				 \n			\n				Jane has been Chief Operating Officer of QTI HR since 2010. She has more than ten years of human resources experience and six years of private law firm practice experience. In her prior capacity as Director of HR for a 1200-person company with four locations throughout Wisconsin\, she has had experience with hourly employees\, salaried employees\, labor relations\, benefits selection and administration\, formulation of employees handbooks\, policies and forms\, disciplinary investigations\, harassment and discrimination investigations\, unemployment hearings\, FMLA administration\, OSHA inquiry management\, and responses to employment-related inquiries from state and federal agencies. Jane is a graduate of Amherst College and the University of Wisconsin Law School.
