SUMMARY:Business Luncheon - February 2011
DESCRIPTION:The Portage Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the UW- Small Business Development Center and the Small Business Administration to offer you educational workshops and networking with your Chamber members.\n\n \n\n \n\n Question-Based Planning - headed in the right direction\n\n \n \n Do all your managers know where your organization is headed - and how they fit in?\n\n \n\n Question-Based Planning gives your organization focus fast. It's a plain-English alternative to traditional "strategic" planning. It yields a one-page plan that helps you keep everyone headed in the same direction\, letting everyone see how they fit in\; our experts know what to ask.\n\n \n\n Good questions clarify purpose and direction so managers can move forward together toward a common goal. Our approach to business planning lets managers define and track the year's top tasks.\n\n \n\n For over 15 years\, 3GoodQuestions has helped CEOs make big decisions successfully. Our unique approach responds to what every CEO says\, "We don't want the planner to lecture us\; we want them to ask us good questions". We ask questions from the perspective of all departments including: Marketing\, Sales\, Operations\, IT\, HR and Finance. \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n When: Wednesday\, February 16\, 2011\n \n Where: Portage Public Library\n	\n	\n Time: Lunch at 11:30 A.M\, Speaker at Noon \n	\n \n Cost: $10.00\, cash or check please\n\n Caterer: Quinn's Hitching Post\n \n \n\n Guest Speaker: Derrick is Principal of 3GoodQuestions\, providing Question-Based Planning\, an alternative to traditional "strategic" planning.
