DESCRIPTION:"OKLAHOMA!"\n\n \n\nPortage Area Community Theatre (PACT) has chosen a Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical classic opening Nov. 13 for two weekends at the Portage Center for the Arts stage. With director Stephen F. Murray\, originally from Chicago\, "Oh What a Beautiful Morning\," "I'm Just a Girl Who Can't Say No\," and many others will delight audiences.  \n\n \n\nAuditions are at John Muir School music room\, 2600 Woodcrest\, on Mon. Aug 25 & Tues. Aug. 26 from 6-9. Performers should arrive at 6:00 p.m.\, come dressed for dance and movement\, and prepare a verse and chorus of a song to sing. An accompanist will be available. There are at least 5 women and 5 men\, along with chorus parts\; ages teens-adult. No experience is necessary to audition for this show. PACT also needs backstage help and musicians for the orchestra. \n\n \n\nYou are invited to support "OKLAHOMA!" and PACT by advertising your business in the program.
