Hope to see you there and be part of all the fun! \n\n\n\nFeatured Speaker: \n\nJohn Koskinen\, Chief Economist of the Wisconsin Department of Revenue\n\n\n\nJohn will talking with us about the Wisconsin Economy and how it is the best we have seen in 18 years. \n\nHe has served as the Chief Economist of the Wisconsin Department of Revenue\, in the administrations of both Governor Scott Walker and Governor Jim Doyle. He has been cited as a commentator on Wisconsin's economy in the press\, radio and television throughout the state. Mr. Koskinen has taught continuing education classes for the Government Finance Officers' Association and UW-Green Bay's Master Academy for Local Government Officials. Prior to joining the Department of Revenue in 2007\, he served as the Staff Economist for the Governor's Budget Office\, Wisconsin Department of Administration\, from 1979 to 2007. He started his professional career at the Wisconsin Legislative Fiscal Bureau\, moved on to the Department of Commerce\, then back to graduate school before settling in at the Department of Administration.\n\n \n\n\n\nWe need your nominations!\n\nPlease nominate a member business or person(s) you feel deserves some recognition for their dedication to the Portage Community.
