SUMMARY:Annual Chamber Meeting and Awards Banquet
DESCRIPTION:The Portage Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us at our Annual Chamber Meeting and Awards Banquet. Network and get to know your fellow Chamber members while we recognize some of the activities of exceptional businesses and people whose service or performance positively contributes to the quality of life in the Portage community.\n\n	\n\n	The evening will include appetizers\, a prime rib and rosemary chicken dinner with a brief awards program.  Our dinner is being catered by B&B Hitching Post.  We will also have a a silent auction\, raffles and guest speaker Mary Gage - Regional Account Manger from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.  \n\n	\n\n	Mary Gage is the WEDC Regional Account Manager for six of the counties located in the Thrive region (Columbia\, Sauk\, Dane\, Dodge\, Jefferson\, and Rock).  She assumed this role in the fall of 2011 after serving 15 years at the Department of Commerce\, most recently as Director of Business Finance in charge of underwriting for most business-to-business programs.  Prior experience includes Credit Manager at Sallie Mae in Washington D.C\, as well as credit analyst positions at consumer and commercial banks.\n\n	 \n\n	Mary is a graduate of UW- Wisconsin Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and holds a MBA in Finance from DePaul University\, Chicago.   She is also certified by the National Development Council as an Economic Development Finance Professional.\n\n	\n\n	\n\n	We need your nominations!\n\n	Please nominate a business or person(s) you feel deserves some recognition for their dedication to the Portage Community.
